Performance Overview:

The HD-LC-DC/NB remote lightning strike counter adopts a non-contact high-accuracy current sensor, which can sense and count strikes within 20cm from the lightning current channel (such as down conductors, lightning rod masts, SPD earthing wires, etc.). It is battery powered with low power consumption design and requires no external power supply, lasting more than 3 years. The device is equipped with an LCD digital screen to display the total strike count and battery voltage on site. It has a built-in NB-IoT wireless transmission module for remote online monitoring. Maintenance personnel should check the battery one to two times every year and replace it in time when the battery voltage is found below 3.2V.

Instructions for Use:

To install, simply fix the counter parallel to the corresponding lightning current channel, such as building lightning down conductors, arresters, and the earthing down conductors of lightning rods, within 20cm - there is no need to attach it closely to the down conductor. This counter is battery powered; check the battery twice a year and replace it in time when the battery voltage is found below 3.2V.

Back-end Management System:

After installation, users can log in to the back-end management system with the account information provided by the manufacturer to view the device status and the earthing resistance data collected by the device.
