First Generation SPD Online Status Monitoring Instrument

Performance Overview:

This series of products is mainly used as an intelligent device for real-time monitoring of the lightning strike count and remote signaling switch quantity of surge protectors. It consists of the transmitter module HD-WAM-TZ and the receiving module HD-WAM-RZ, which realize data transmission through wireless technology and are generally used in pairs.

The HD-WAM-TZ transmitter module is installed next to the surge protector and is used to monitor the lightning strike count and changes in remote signaling switch quantity in real time. When a lightning strike occurs, the module can record and display the number of strikes; when the surge protector fails, the module displays "OFF". If the transmitter and receiver modules are paired, each transmitter module can be coded with a different address identification code. When the strike count or remote signaling switch quantity changes, the transmitter module can send the address code, strike count and remote signaling switch signal to the receiver module wirelessly.

The HD-WAM-RZ receiving module is generally installed in the monitoring room, security room or duty room. One receiving module can monitor up to 255 transmitter modules at the same time. The module is equipped with a 2.7-inch color LCD module that can display the strike count and remote signaling switch status of each transmitter module in real time. If a change in strike count is received, the strike count of the corresponding module is updated and a brief prompt sound is issued at the same time; if a remote signaling switch signal is received, the remote signaling indicator of the corresponding module changes from green to red and emits an alarm sound continuously until the damaged surge protector is replaced. The receiving module is also equipped with a data remote transmission interface, which can connect multiple receiving modules through the 485 bus and further upload all data to the online monitoring real-time software or server, achieving local single-point collection, partitioned reception and overall centralized management.
